About Team
In 2019 a few core players from Rovers FC ( first Manitoba Senior Mens Provincial Futsal Champions ) decided to take the team in different direction and rebrand. They wanted to build a team to represent what they wanted to do for Manitoba:
Develop and establish a flourishing futsal community in Winnipeg and throughout Manitoba. They wanted to be Manitoba’s pioneers of futsal. Which brings us to the name - Pioneers FC.
